How switching works

Switching IT providers, without the disruption.

Three steps

Baseline. Handoff. Ownership.

Baseline

During your current provider's notice period, we review your setup, document what we find and build the handoff timeline. You get your Baseline Posture Score, a score out of 100 taken before we take over.

Handoff

We coordinate with your previous provider, your staff and your vendors, put our tools in place, and cut over after hours, planned around the dates that can't move.

Ownership

Support, maintenance, upgrades, testing and evidence, ongoing. Your Technology Posture Report arrives every quarter, without you asking, and your Technology Adviser reviews it with you. If you answer to a regulated framework, a Compliance Posture Report for each framework arrives with it, and your Technology Adviser reviews those with you too.

Before anything changes

Will switching disrupt my team?

You get a dated plan before anything changes, built around the dates that can't move. Tools are swapped one at a time, and your staff are trained on anything new before they need it. The cutover happens after hours, so Monday looks like Friday.

Your current provider

What happens with my current provider?

Nothing you have to manage. We coordinate the switch with them directly. Your logs, email archives and backup history carry over intact. When the switch is complete, we close the door behind them, following NIST CSF 2.0 (GV.SC-10) and CIS Control 15.7.

Your records

Who owns our documentation?

You do. Nothing gets lost in the switch. We review, standardize and complete your documentation during onboarding, and your policies, procedures and records are always yours and always accessible.

After handoff

What does support look like after handoff?

24x7, onsite, phone and self-service support. Everyday requests, like printers and mailbox access, can be handled through self-service, and regular in-office visits keep someone who knows your environment close by.
