Architecture, engineering and construction · South Orange County

Your clients trust you with the design, the engineering and the build. Does your IT earn that trust, or just assume it?

Models in Revit, markups in Bluebeam, RFIs in Procore, and work that moves between the office, the job trailer and the site.

What your contracts call for

s90 manages IT for architecture, engineering and construction companies in south Orange County, from the design studio to the job site. We run your systems end to end, switch your job sites over with your office, and deliver a quarterly report with evidence for the security questionnaires owners, general contractors and insurers send.

Does this sound familiar?

Models, drawings and bid numbers on every laptop and tablet, from the office to the job trailer, design licenses that renew whether anyone uses them or not, and staff trying AI tools nobody has vetted. Someone handles your IT, but when an owner or general contractor sends a security questionnaire, or your leadership asks whether you're paying for the right things, the honest answer is a guess.

I'm trusting it on faith.
I couldn't show it if someone asked.

Most companies like yours have someone handling their IT. Tickets come in, tickets get closed, and nobody asks whether the company is safer, spending well or able to show its work. Having someone handle your IT isn't the same as having your IT managed.

Proof before an owner or general contractor asks

Asking your provider for proof is awkward. You shouldn't have to.

Your clients trust you with the design, the engineering and the build. Your reputation rests on precision, accountability and delivering on schedule, so your IT should be able to prove it. We hold ourselves to the standard you hold for your clients: ready when a bid deadline or submittal date won't move, keeping your office and job sites working as one team, and working alongside you toward the goals you're building.

Office and job sites, switched together

Three steps, timed around bids and submittals.

If it's in the table below, we already support it, from the design studio to the job trailer. We coordinate the switch with your previous provider, your staff and your software vendors, your job sites switch over with your office, and your handoff happens after hours, so Monday looks like Friday.

01 · Baseline

See where you stand

Before anything changes, we review your setup and give you your Baseline Posture Score, a score out of 100 taken before we take over. You see where you stand, and exactly what we're taking on.

02 · Handoff

Seamless switch

We coordinate with your current provider and cut over when it's not disruptive. We schedule your handoff around the dates that you can't move.

03 · Ownership

We own it from here

Support, security, maintenance and planning are ours. Every quarter your Technology Posture Report arrives, and your Technology Adviser walks you through it: what changed, what it means for you, and what we recommend next.

Before you switch

You get a dated plan before anything changes, built around your bid deadlines, submittal dates, inspections and milestones. Tools are swapped one at a time, field devices and site connections are part of the plan from the start, and your staff are trained on anything new before they need it.

What's at stake when a bid is due

What it costs when nobody owns your company's IT.

The slow leak

Paying for design licenses assigned to people who left, laptops that can't open a model without stalling, a job site connection that drops right when the crew needs the latest drawings, and staff pasting bids and specs into AI tools nobody approved.

The sudden hit

Ransomware the week a bid is due, drawings or bid numbers exposed, one spoofed email that changes the wire instructions on a progress payment.

When someone owns your IT

Every device, license and login accounted for, in the office and on every job site. Laptops that open a model without stalling. Job site connections someone is actually watching. Software spend you can see and control. Recovery plans that have actually been tested, so a bid deadline never depends on luck. Support around the clock, in your office and through self-service for everyday requests. And proof in hand that's never more than three months old, so when an owner, a general contractor or your insurer asks, the answer is already on your desk. You know your IT is taken care of.

What your contracts call for

For companies that need to prove it

If your company works on defense or federal projects, your contracts may require you to protect the sensitive project information they involve (controlled unclassified information, or CUI) with specific controls (NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012). When a contract calls for a CMMC assessment, it builds on those same controls, so whatever form CMMC takes, your evidence is current either way. If your work doesn't involve CUI, a recognized framework, NIST CSF 2.0 or CIS Controls, is how you answer the security questionnaires owners, general contractors and insurers send, and we'll help you choose the one that fits. Either way, we provide current evidence that your controls are in place and working. The person in charge of compliance at your company decides whether you're compliant, and only an authorized assessor can certify it.

What's at stake

Failing a prime contractor's or owner's security questionnaire and losing the work, a claim your insurer won't pay because a control you listed wasn't in place, or a security score you affirmed for defense work that you can't back up when someone asks.
